Some people would choose to think of the day after Christmas as a depressing day, since it's so far out again from family, gifts, time off, and general peace and love. I like to think that everyday can be like that..... and it can be depressing on say, March 22, simply because, that's another day that may never happen again the way it happened in the current year.
I had the morning and day to clean up the last bit of gifts from about my house, as well as sit down to some fine murder at COD. I had to also be at work at 6, but my friend Jordan asked to have coffee with me. She's a cool girl. We met at Starbucks at 3, but I soon realized that a day without a meal is no day at all.
Therefore, we left and went to Q'doba, where we both ordered too much food, and got to catch up. She's moving back from Texas; she'll be permanently nested again here in about a week. Good times at Q'doba were followed at a good time training Melissa tonight at work. The shift was great, and we got a lot done. After the shift, I went home and felt the itch to watch "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", but realized there is another who would love to watch that with me. Jordan came over again, and we watched the hilarity.
