Day 71

Day 71, my favorite number. This stresses the importance of a favorite day. One to really remember. I succeeded in that.

The house is to myself this weekend, other than Shelby being in and out of the hair cut scene. Melissa came over after lunch (my lunch was soup), and we left for a road trip up north to Luddington to visit my parents at Poncho's Pond. We returned to the faithful Mazda for the trip, courtesy of my dad, who grants us it on such trips as Chicago (wish I wish I would have documented on here, but that was June.... different time, prior to the blog birth.) We drove for about two hours, stopped in Muskegon, cruised around Lake's Mall, and went into Chuck E. Cheese's to eat. Why the heck Chuck E. Cheese has a bouncer and a security gate is beyond me. We actually had to check in, wait behind a bouncer and rope, and then get approved by management to walk in. Chuck E. Cheese is setting their image par high, maybe too high. At this point, getting into the Amway Grand Black and White Affair is easier than getting a greasy piece of pizza at cheesy Chuckies. We did NOT eat there. We went to Arbys.

Arrives at Poncho's, hung out in the R.V. with my parents, then spent some time in the campground hot tub and pool. Ethan, my brother, although funny, can be a pest. We returned to the R.V. and ate steaks and potatoes, and then i watched footage from the "Mr. E Show", a comedy show my brother hosts every Friday at his school. I was shocked. He's growing up so fast..... he has a cult following, kids screaming his name, kids in line wanting to guest star on the Mr. E Show, it's great. At this point, my brother is more famous than I am. Congrats Ethan.

Returned home and changed into my Twilight costume for Matt's party, and met with Lauren who was there. The three of us drove out to Matt's house in Holland, where jello shots, Chex Mix, and fun ensued. I was the champion of flip cup on my team, never getting voted off, ending the game by playing for all 5 players. Yes, I was fine to drive and safe. : ) Good gang of Hollanders over there. I'll be seeing some of them next weekend.
