I did nothing meaningful or advancing for my life, other than play COD, feed the cat, and hang out around the house until about 1:20, when I had to leave for work. I had a meeting with the boss so I picked us up some donuts and went in to work. We killed a good hour and a half in this meeting, so the shift went by exuberantly fast.
Work was done, and I was a free man. Unsure of how to spend my freedom, I went home and hoped COD would help clear my mind. About an hour later, it did. I left and went and saw the film, "In Time" by myself. The story was semi rushed, forced at times, but the sub layers and multiple meanings were genius. I liked it for that reason alone, the lessons, the value of life and time, and the politically charged theme that would make any Occupy Wall-street fanatic piddle in their pants with excitement.
I came home surfed netflix, before heading to bed. A more restful, free Friday for me.
