Day 61

After a night with still little sleep again, I slept in this morning until noon. It was like someone hit the refresh button on a frozen computer screen. I was good. Felt recharged, re-focused, re-imaged. I ate some Coco Puffs, played more COD, and worked on bits and pieces of a homework assignment that involves me writing out a myth.

I met Melissa for Mcdonalds (yes, I know, its bad.... I'm at one now still), and we talked and I conned her into eating some friends and getting their cappuccino. Mcdonalds, in my opinion, makes phenomenal coffee drinks, just under par to Starbucks. We stayed there for a bit, and then she left, leaving me to finish my homework, and then head off to class on another colder and rainier day than the previous.

I got to class and we discussed bias in news stories. After that I went to Spanish class where more fun and language learning ensued. I like Spanish, it's practical, but I'm leaning towards a semester of French 101 next year. After the class I stayed after for my Spanish lab, which involves me sitting on an imac I wish I had, and watching Spanish movies. I watched El Hombre de Arana, or Spider-Man as we know it. Same movie, different language.

Had to get gas tonight, considering I was on "E' on my fuel gage. I couldn't believe I made it, but I made the mistake of going to the busiest Speedway on Grand Valley's outskirts. I had to wait in a line to get overpriced gas at a station run by crazy teenagers. There I sat, in my car.... cold, no gas, thinking bad thoughts about the slow, pudgy people pumping their petroleum in front of me.
